Calvin L. Williams is the Founder and CEO of Impruver, Inc., an AI-powered Lean Management software company designed to help organizations accelerate continuous improvement and strategy execution.

Early Life & EducationBorn and raised in South Chicago, Williams began his manufacturing career on the shop floor assembling circuit breakers for Square D Company. He balanced this work with his studies at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management Systems Engineering while attending on academic and track-and-field scholarships.

Williams has over 20 years of experience in operations leadership and continuous improvement. Before launching Impruver in 2018, he drove efficiency and cost savings for several Fortune 500 companies and premier manufacturing brands: Tyson Foods & Nestlé: Worked as an Industrial Engineer.

Colgate-Palmolive & Mars: Served as a Continuous Improvement Engineer and Operations/Lean Manager.
A.T. Kearney: Worked as a Senior Management Consultant in the Manufacturing Center of Excellence, contributing to over $600 million in savings for clients.
The Clorox Company: Served as a Senior Leader of Global Continuous Improvement.
Google (via Randstad): Served as Senior Director of Global Operational Excellence from 2023 to 2025.
Entrepreneurship and Media
Driven by his passion for operational excellence, Williams founded Impruver to digitize the traditional Lean manufacturing toolbox using AI, gamification, and low-code builders. In addition to software, he operates Impruver University, which offers enterprise-wide Lean Six Sigma training and certifications.
He is also an author, speaker, and thought leader. He hosts The Impruvers Podcast, wrote the Amazon best-selling book The FIT Book, and publishes educational content focusing on frontline empowerment, minimizing operational waste, and leveraging AI in manufacturing.
